No School on Monday, Feb. 16 - Due to Louis Riel Day, there is no school on Monday, February 16.
Voyageur Spirit Week - every day this upcoming week we will be having a theme for celebrating Voyageurs. Tuesday is ceinture fleche (scarf around the waist) and beard; Wednesday is toque and sac a feu (voyageur bag); Thursday is checker shirt; and Friday is dress like a voyageur from head to toe. Plus, we have out door activities on Friday and students need to dress for the weather because we will be outside for a large part of the day.
Math Homework - students are to do one page of the math homework booklet 5 times a week.

We will start up Daily Writing this month.

Grade 4 students are expected to read for 20 minutes a day at home.

Students are expected to bring their agenda home every day and get it signed by a parent every school day.

Students are expected to bring their homework bags to and from school each school day. In their homework bag should be their agenda, home reading booklet, daily writing booklet (which will be introduced later in Sept.), any permission forms, homework, and letters. The purpose of the homework bags are to keep all those items mentioned above organized and to be easily accessible for students, parents, and teacher.
